I'm sure there's a better way to word this, but it's just not coming to me. Might edit it later on.
Just really annoys me when someone uploads a stamp or something and you've got people in the comments saying immature crap like "Geeze, you're bat*** insane", or when discussing something they keep aiming personal attacks at the other person(s), or worse yet, basing their entire argument on personal attacks.
Besides, ad hominem (attacking the person's character rather than their argument) is a logical fallacy. A discussion/debate should be made up of rational thoughts and responses, not insults.
Okay, so I realize that we all snap at others once in a while, especially in a heated discussion. But at least try, y'know? If it's getting on your nerves, take a break.
Heck, I even know that throwing insults back and forth can, in a way, be fun. Infuriating when it's done to you, but fun to throw them back.
But still, wouldn't it be so much more productive to get a real argument and contribute to a thought-provoking discussing rather than simply cause a bunch of drama?
