Tink died about a year before Treader was added to our family, but I think this is what would have happened had they ever met. Let me explain: Treader likes to chase cats. My neighbor once had a cat that refused to run from him. Apparently Treader has no idea that most cats are actually afraid of him, because he just stood there play-bowing, barking, and whining at the cat, like he was begging her to run. (Play-bowing is part of canine body language and basically means "let's play!") It was quite funny to watch.
And Tinker Bell was very used to and tolerant with dogs, having grown up with my GSD Cookie (whom Tink used to let chase her when she felt like it) and my grandmother's rambuncious Jack Russell Terrier. As tolerant as Tink was, when she was annoyed she made it obvious. She hated the camera, so in most of the few pictures I still have of her she either looks annoyed or is glaring.
I am surprised that this attempt at drawing Tink turned out so well! I thought her markings would be very hard to capture. They're certainly not portrayed one hundred percent accurately here, but still, turned out to my liking. References were used for the markings of both animals. P.S. The lines around Tinker Bell's tail are supposed to show that it the end of it is swishing back and forth. I failed on those.
