Speeding Treadersby ~Colliequest

We have to watch out for Treader when we open the doors upon going into the house, because he will try to bolt out the door. (And that dog is FAST! If he were a car he'd get a speeding ticket.) So before we go inside, I like to say "Watch out for speeding Treaders!" It's since become an inside joke of sorts.

He's actually jumping in the pic I used for this, but it looks kinda like he's running...I wish I had cropped it so that you see more of his legs, though, as at first glance it just looks like he's standing there.

That's funny! I can just picture it. If any burglars come, all you'd have to do is open the door, and Treader would run after that.

We used to have cats that wanted to bolt outside and inside too. He looks like he's running in the picture.

Cookie would be more likely to chase any burglars, Treader is more friendly. But he has his protective side, too. (And I think he would try to run a burglar off, especially if Cookie's doing it already.) He used to bark at my mom or anyone who tried to wake me up...but then his barking would wake me up anyways. XD
